2 x Pascal Hénin Vintage 2012 Extra Brut Grand Cru

Pressing and wine-making of grapes from old vines situated in Champagne Grand Cru villages. Millésime 2012 comes from a unique and exceptional 2012 harvest and has been aged on lees for 5 years in addition to the initial steel VAT ageing.

Composition

50% Chardonnay from the village of Chouilly in the Côte de Blancs and 50% Pinot Noir from the famous Grand Cru village of Aÿ in the Montagne de Reims, in France. This champagne is dosed at 4gr/l.

When to drink

Serve at 7˚ C at any occasion.

2 x Xavier Leconte, Signature du Hameau

The Signature du Hameau Brut from Champagne Xavier Leconte is a multiple award winner, fine blend of Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, aged in oak barrels.

Composition

The Signature du Hameau from Xavier and his son Alexis Leconte blends 80% Meunier with 15% Pinot Noir, and 5% Chardonnay grapes. This Champagne is made with 60 % of vintage 2015 wine and 40 % of old wines (reserve). It is vinified in stainless steel tanks and in oak barrels. Aged a minimum of 2 years on lees, this premium champagne is dosed at 8g/litre.
 

When to drink

You can easily enjoy this champagne as part of a meal, as well as an apéritif.

Tasting Notes

This champagne has a gold robe. The nose has an intense aroma of mature fruits, peach, mirabelle, plum, mingled with butter, vanilla and mocha coffee. In the mouth, Signature du Hameau is an association of mature fruits (apricots, peach) as well as nuts and cinnamon. In the palate, Signature du Hameau has an ample attack. An association of mature fruits (apricot, peach), dried fruit (nuts) and freshness.

2 x Pascal Hénin Tradition Brut NV

Tradition brut champagne is a blend of all three champagne grapes. It is a classic easy champagne you can open at every occasion.

Composition

Hénin’s Tradition Brut Champagne is the result of the 3 Champagne grapes blended with reserve wines. Only the juice of the first press – the cuvée - is used for this Champagne aged 6 months in steel vats and an additional 20 months on lees in the cellar. Tradition is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 30%Pinot Meunier. Dosed at 7gr/l, Tradition is a brut champagne.

When to drink

Ideal for aperitif, it is also a Champagne for every occasion to open for pleasure. Serve at 7˚ C at any occasion.

Tasting Notes

Pinot Noir ensures fullness and power of this champagne, the Chardonnay brings finesse, elegance and vivacity, while the 20 % of Pinot Meunier provides freshness and fruitiness.
