The 50 year old vines Dames de France is made with guarantee its depth and freshness. This is a stable and reliable champagne created by the estate’s grand-mother and proudly kept among its best sellers.

Composition

Blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay (blend of 2014 wine and 2013 reserve wine). The average age for the vines is 50 year old.

Dosed at 10g/L, Dames de France is a brut champagne.

Aged 4 years in the wine cellar.

When to drink

Great for aperitif or pairing with shellfish. This is a perfect wine for every occasion.

Tasting Notes

The effervescence of fine bubbles for a white and creamy cordon. Golden blond hue with bright shine. Initial expressive nose with fresh fruit aromas of peach and apricot. When swirled, tangerine citrus and candied fruit notes come out. Complexity is provided with a touch of toast. The palate is powerful and structured. The balanced dosage provides remarkable vinosity. Long and generous finish.

Meet the Grower: Champagne Boever

Champagne A&S Boever is located in the Montagne de Reims area, the northernmost of the Champagne region, where Pinot Noir is the predominant grape varietal.

The Boever family owns 5 hectares of vineyard, located in the sought after Grand Cru villages of Louvois, Aÿ, and Bouzy. Anne-Sophie, Sébastien & Thomas Boever are the 3 generations to manage the vineyard since 1946. Each custodian understands they need to be true to the values of responsibility, sustainability, and authenticity. Overseeing cultivation of the vines, the winemaking process, marketing, and sales of their wonderful champagne. With the exception of bottling, the entire champagne making process is completed on the estate.
