Savour five natural grower champagnes. Learn the secrets of the trade. Taste champagne like a pro.
Join us for an opportunity to taste through a great lineup of family-owned boutique champagnes from a range of vineyards in the Champagne region, France.
Grower champagnes, while a smaller portion of the champagne market, are much more terroir (land/location/place) driven with a distinctive taste of their area. We go out of our way to present you a selection of growers who cultivate their soil and vines responsibly, with limited to no use of chemicals. Come taste a range of fine champagnes from growers who define quality by passion, respect, authenticity, and environment responsibility. Here are some of the topics we will discuss together:
1) Introduction to the geography and history of the Champagne region
2) Understanding champagne labels
3) How champagne & sparkling wines are made
4) Grape varietals used to make champagnes
5) Effects of taste in different champagne glassware
A platter of cold cuts, cheeses and bread will be served during the event.
Special perk: you will be able to purchase products at the venue while stocks last, or to place your purchase order for home delivery.
This is a monthly event with limited spacing.
We look forward to hosting you and discussing all things champagne!
